Christine Quinn has won the backing of Hollywood’s heavy hitters in her quest to be mayor of New York. We can reveal that “Tower Heist” director Brett Ratner will host a fund-raiser for Quinn at his Los Angeles home on Thursday. Hosts will include power agents Ari Emanuel of WME and Kevin Huvane of CAA, Oscar-winning producer Brian Grazer, Universal Studios president Ron Meyer, “The Usual Suspects” director Bryan Singer and Oscar-winning producer Bruce Cohen. Emanuel and Huvane are believed to have also been spreading the word to their talent and A-list clients. Tickets go up to $4,950 for a “champion” for the City Council speaker.
