Hours before his movie “The Avengers” opened at midnight, Mark Ruffalo was spotted Thursday cooking sausages on Randalls Island with a man in a matching outfit. The strange scene was part of art fair Frieze, where The Hulk actor roasted bangers with gallerist Gavin Brown, as part of an installation by food-obsessed artist Rirkrit Tiravanija. Ruffalo also used the event to create awareness for his anti-fracking efforts. “Mark and Gavin wore matching navy blue Dickies shirts and pants, and white aprons,” said a spy. “And they made sausage sandwiches on hot plates for 2 1/2 hours. At first glance, you couldn’t tell them apart.” Pharrell Williams was spotted at the fair’s opening day with “fluorescent yellow hair” and “boots that he drew Chanel logos on,” spies said. Brit art dealer Jay Jopling was showing off artwork on an iPad to collector Bob Shaye. And Kim Cattrall, Chuck Close and Anthony Haden-Guest hit Soho House’s pop-up space and Cecconi’s VIP lounge.
