Stevie Wonder and Quincy Jones partied like 20-year-olds after the International Jazz Day celebration at the UN, staying until the wee hours earlier this week at the new Serafina in the Meatpacking District. Witnesses said the music greats were joined by a group of UN dignitaries in the restaurant’s upstairs room, where owners played a mix of jazz and blues over the sound system in their honor. One source said, “They tried everything on the menu, the cooks had to stay and work late. They stayed even after the restaurant had stopped serving food and drinks.” We’re told that after Stevie, 61, and Quincy, 79, finally left at about 3:30 a.m., the rest of the group stayed behind for another hour.
