Cupcake heist

Someone snatched one of the cupcakes intended for Debra Messing at the launch event for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 at Lincoln Center Wednesday. Messing’s birthday was the same day, and the “Smash” star was surprised by boyfriend Will Chase with cupcakes from Crumbs. As she was presented with the cupcakes reading “Happy Birthday” (one letter on each), observers saw a woman reach for the tray and grab one of the sweet treats bearing the letter Y and shove it into her mouth.
