Clooney ‘County’

George Clooney has signed to produce a screen adaptation of Tony-winning drama “August: Osage County” to star Meryl Streep and his “Ocean’s Eleven” co-star Julia Roberts as mother and daughter. John Wells — producer and director of “ER” and Showtime’s “Shameless” — is directing the project, which Clooney’s “Ides of March” producing partner Grant Heslov is also joining. Clooney has been vacationing in Italy with gal pal Stacy Keibler, who’s denied rumors she’s pregnant.
