Brandi Glanville says that the first time she saw her ex-husband's new wife, LeAnn Rimes, at one of her son's soccer practices, "I thought I was going to physically hurt her."
Glanville and Rimes have both become regulars at Mason, 8, and Jake, 5, Cibrian's sporting events, and are often photographed together on the sidelines appearing civil toward one another. But Glanville explains in an explosive new interview revealed on Radar Online, that she initially hated seeing Rimes at her sons' games.
"I remember walking up to soccer practice and there she was with my baby in her lap," remembers Glanville. "My blood was boiling, and I thought I was going to kill her. I really thought I was going to physically hurt her ... She was sitting in my soccer chair, under my tent, she's got my kid on her lap and she's with my husband, and that was that little moment of total irrational fury."
However, now that some time has passed, Glanville says that she no longer feels extreme anger toward Rimes, and does not begrudge the country singer for showing an interest in her sons' lives.
"We're never going to be best friends," said Glanville. "But she's good to my kids, they love her and that's all I could ask for. If they didn't like her, I'd be in court right now, fighting. It's not about me -- it's about them."
After eight years of marriage to Glanville, Cibrian fell for Rimes on the set of their Lifetime movie "Northern Lights" in 2009. While Rimes and Cibrian initially denied an affair, images soon surfaced of them kissing in a hotel lobby. Soon after, Cibrian and Glanville divorced, while Rimes split from her then-husband, Dean Sheremet. Cibrian and Rimes -- who often post lovely dovey photos of themselves on Twitter -- wed in April of 2011, and recently renewed their vows.
In her interview, Glanville also spoke about reports that Cibrian and Rimes did not get a prenuptial agreement when they married.
"Thank God," she said. "My kids’ futures will be taken care of if that's true."
She also commented on Cibrian blocking her children from appearing on her Bravo series, "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."
Said Glanville, "It's incredibly hypocritical of Eddie to object to filming around my children, especially given how public he lives his life."Follow @PageSix
