Rielle Hunter, the randy sex kitten who just spilled the beans to GQ about the most intimate details of her affair with John Edwards, is now crying over the "repulsive" photos of her the mag ran with the story.

"The View" host Barbara Walters said the disgraced politician's baby mama called her yesterday to whine about GQ running shots of her, in sexy poses -- some on a bed minus pants.

"She was in tears when she called, she said when she saw the pictures," Walters said. "She said she found them repulsive.

"When I asked, 'Well, if that was the case, then why did you pose the way you did?' [Hunter] said that she trusted the photographer, Mark Seliger, who she described as 'brilliant.' "

"All I did was go with the flow," Hunter insisted.

She said Seliger snapped many photos of her -- wearing nothing but pearls and a crisp, man's shirt.

But Hunter insisted she was assured that the sexy shots would barely make the cut -- that just one or maybe two would see the light of print.

"She [posed for] a lot of pictures and she thought maybe one, like, that showed her being sexy" would be published, Walters said.

"She wanted to stress again and again how upset she was with the photographs.

"She thought they were repulsive. She cried for two hours and realizes how terrible they are."

But GQ editor-in-chief Jim Nelson urged readers to look at the video of the photo shoot -- posted on the magazine's Web site.

"I have no idea how she feels about the photos," he said. "But I think you can see how comfortable she was at the shoot by looking at the video."

Meanwhile, continuing her tell-all marathon, Hunter told Walters that she and Edwards still get along -- despite the truth of his prediction that "falling in love with you could really f- - - up my plans for becoming president, " which she quoted in the GQ interview.

"We are co-parents and have a very loving relationship," Hunter told Walters.

Walter's "View" colleagues showed little sympathy for Hunter.

Comic Sherri Shepherd pointed out that Hunter knew exactly what she was, or wasn't, wearing.

Whoopi Goldberg summed up the panel's overall take on the story, saying that GQ magazine, by definition, is out to publish pictures of sexy women and that Hunter should have known that.

"GQ is a . . . sexy magazine for men. So it does not seem, to me, that it should be as surprising," Goldberg said.

"So I'm not quite buying it. I'm telling you, I'm Lysol-ing myself."

The comic then picked up a can of Lysol and sprayed her torso.

Where are her advisors??? She should have had an advisor with her during the photo shoot. Where was Johnny???I can see these 2 hooking up when they did and i dont believe his marriage was a viable one. After the death of her son Wade, Elizabeth lost her joy basically. Rielle, (this is not even her real name. It is Lisa Druck)ruined an already doomed marrige.It was torpedoed by lust.In this case chemistry can be a b_____ .

She should have posed in a Laura Ashley summer dress with gold sandals and holding her beautiful little girl by the hand.She could have worn pearls too in that photo and we would have seen a lady-like ,beautiful young woman.Why didnt her paramour advise her and attend the photo shoot. The magazine photographer got the shots exactly what G.Q paid him to get.

Why didn't she just keep her pants for the photographs? She chose to be photographed in these poses so it's a little late for her to be complaining!

Is any one out there really surprised that this woman would pose in a HO shot with Barney and Dora and the rest of the innocence of childhood????? It sounds like she had been waiting for years to hit a meal ticket extrodenaire and she found just that in sleaze Edwards.Now they should get married and disappear.O,wait they are waiting for his wife to pass away i forgot.
