She was smoking hot before she charred herself!
Stunning new photos reveal tanorexic Patricia Krentcil was an aspiring model in her 20s before turning herself to leather.
In the glamour shots, Krentcil, now 44, flashes a bright smile beneath her blond hair, green eyes and youthful gaze — and her complexion is normal, smooth and clear.
It’s a far cry from her current preference of skin as thick as a catcher’s mitt.
“She’s obviously not as tan in that. But that’s her, yeah. As far as I know, that was her,” Krentcil’s husband, Rich, said yesterday outside his home in Nutley, NJ.
“It was probably a good, at least 15 years ago.”
Rich said his wife took the photos as part of an application for a modeling agency.
But he said he doesn’t know who photographed Krentcil or how the photos resurfaced.
A former Long Island classmate says the modeling photos certainly resemble Krentcil’s face — but the classmate was skeptical it was Krentcil’s body fitted into the cleavage-bearing outfit.
“She was so skinny and had no boobs in high school,” said a friend from Cold Spring Harbor HS, where Krentcil spent the 1982-83 school year.
“I can’t see it. No way — it’s Photoshop.”
The Post first reported Krentcil has been abusing rays since at least her freshman year of high school, when a yearbook photo showed her slightly charred.
Krentcil was charged with child endangerment in late April after her now-6-year-old daughter said she suffered first-degree burns in a tanning booth.
On Monday, the case against Krentcil was referred to a New Jersey grand jury, which will now decide whether to indict her.
The tan mom — who has been banned from at least 63 area salons — has said she’s an excellent mother but has been victimized by her “fat and ugly” critics who are “jealous’’ of her beautiful bronzed body.
