A Manhattan man was arrested yesterday for fatally shooting his estranged wife’s boyfriend and then setting the victim’s house on fire, authorities said.
Sui Kam “Tony” Tung, 49, was slapped with a slew of charges by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s office including murder and arson for allegedly killing Robert Cantor in his Teaneck, NJ, home in March 2011, officials said.
Tung, who lives on the Upper East Side, allegedly stalked Cantor after he discovered his wife had a relationship with the man, said Bergen County officials.
Tung’s wife had filed for divorce before the killing.
Tung allegedly shot and killed Cantor and later set his house on fire.
The victim’s body was burned so badly that he had to be identified by dental records.
Tung is being held on $3 million bail.
