MSG will become the first network to broadcast a hockey game in 3D.

The March 24 tilt between the Rangers and Islanders will be shown in 3D at the Theater at Madison Square Garden. Rangers greats Mark Messier and Adam Graves will attend the event; tickets will cost $20.

MSG HD subscribers with 3D compatible televisions will be able to watch the telecast on a separate channel offered by Cablevision.
