Cardozo to host Coaches vs. Cancer sports day

Benjamin Cardozo will be doing its part in the battle against cancer and is looking for help.
The school in conjunction with The American Cancer Society will host a Coaches vs. Cancer Day featuring lacrosse and baseball games and the school’s annual boys volleyball tournament Saturday. The tournament features some of the city’s top squads including Regis, Bryant and St. Francis Prep.
There will be areas where people who come and watch any of the events can make a donation. Players and coaches will be making donations as well. All the money raised goes to the American Cancer Society.
Here is the schedule of events:
8 a.m. – JV Baseball game
9 a.m. – Boys Volleyball Tournament
10 a.m. – Cardozo vs. Mary Louis (Girls Lacrosse)
11:30 a.m. – Cardozo vs. Stuyvesant (Boys Lacrosse)
